One of the characteristics of being All In For Jesus is that I become a worshipper of Jesus! What does that mean to you? Do I spend time worshiping the Lord in my daily life?
Psalm 96: 1-4 gives us ways to worship the Lord in the splendor of His Holiness.
“Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless His name; tell of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among the people! For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.”
- I worship when I sing to the Lord! Three times, we are told to sing! Something changes in us when we sing to the Lord! I need to sing because it helps me worship the Lord! It causes me to focus on the Lord and not the issues of life.
- I worship the Lord when I bless His name! When I begin to speak the name of Jesus, it changes me! It reminds me of God and all He has done for me!
- I worship the Lord when I talk to people about Jesus and when I witness to others about what Jesus has done and is doing in my life.
- I worship the Lord when I participate in missions. Missions are God’s will, and when I pray, give, and go to any mission field in our city or around the world, it is my worship to the Lord!
- I worship the Lord when I focus on the greatness of God! He is great and deserves all of my worship today!
Lord, I commit to worshiping You today!
