Lord, I hear You calling and will follow You, no matter where You ask me to go for You

In Isaiah 6, we see that Isaiah confesses his sins to the Lord, and then we see the Lord calls Isaiah! When we confess our sins, the Lord calls every single follower of Jesus to follow Him. That means God has a call on your life to follow Him and to be used by Him.

Many Christians think that only those in ministry are called by God, but every follower of Jesus is called to serve Him and to build His kingdom.

Isaiah 6: 8-9; “Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom shall I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us? I said, “Here I am send me.” And the Lord said, “Yes, go, and say…..”

This is still happening today:

  • The Lord is drawing, asking, and calling people today. We need to be connected to the Lord through prayer and the Word of God to hear His voice. “My sheep know my voice, and follow Me.”
  • The Lord calls people to service, missions, evangelism, and reaching people! “Whom shall I send?” We may say, Lord, I will pray for others and give to Kingdom Builders for others to go and serve, but that is not for me. We must all be willing to do our part in building the Kingdom of God.
  • The question is: Who will go?????? Isaiah said, “Here I am. Send me.” What is my part in “Reaching the City and Touching the World for Jesus.”

Lord, I hear you calling and will follow You, no matter where you ask me to go for you. Lord, I am available, send me! Can we pray that today?
