As a follower of Jesus, there is no greater gift than the gift of salvation! But we also need to know that Jesus saves us and keeps us. I am thankful for the keeping power of Jesus in my life!
Paul wrote to the Corinthian church in 1 Corinthians 1:8: “He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
We need to realize that God’s grace can keep us in every situation, every season, and every spiritual battle that we will face in life.
Jude 1:24 reminds us of this principle: “To Him who can KEEP you from stumbling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy.”
I am thankful for His saving and His keeping power! But I must want His saving and keeping power in my life today!
Let’s praise the Lord today for these two wonderful gifts that God’s grace gives to us!
