Lord, instead of worry, help me to pray, praise, and worship You!

Worry is something that probably every single one of us deals with consistently. In nature, that is how we cope with the stress of life. We cannot avoid stressful situations, but we must follow Jesus’ teaching to cope with the stress. It is neither spiritual nor healthy to worry, because, as Jesus says in Matthew 6, worry will not change a single thing. But Jesus can change everything!

Matthew 6:31-34 clearly tells us, ‘So don’t worry about these things, saying,” What will we eat? ” What will we drink? “‘ What will we wear? These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, BUT your Heavenly Father already knows your needs. (But here is our responsibility) “But seek FIRST the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. So DO NOT WORRY about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”

As followers of Jesus, we have the help of the Holy Spirit that unbelievers do not have. We have the very presence, peace, and power of God to help us to walk by faith and not by worry!

Instead of worrying about the things of this world, why not start praying to Your Heavenly Father, who can give us everything we need to get through the stressful situations of life.

Jesus invites us to “Cast all our worries, cares, stressful situations on Him, because He cares for you.”

Lord, instead of worry, help me to pray, praise, and worship You, because You are greater than any situation I am facing today.
