Lord, let people see Your light in my life

When you go on a journey, you must always carry a light source with you. You need a flashlight, candle, fire, or a source to give you light when it is dark! Jesus tells His followers, “He is the light of the World.”

John 8:12; “Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the Light of the world. If you follow Me, you won’t have to walk in darkness because you will have the light that leads to life.”

Light is only useful in the darkness. In the spiritual sense, this world is getting darker and darker continuously. We see what is happening all around us, and we see more and more darkness, hatred, violence, ugliness, and spiritual and moral decay. We see darkness everywhere.

Sadly, we curse the darkness instead of turning on the light! Jesus is the light of the world! That means Jesus is the only answer for our lives’ darkness. We need to see the darkness in our hearts and invite Jesus, the light of the world, to come into our hearts. Jesus is the light of our marriages and families; we must allow His light to shine in our homes. Jesus is the light of the world, our neighborhoods, city, nation, and world.

Today, Jesus tells us – “You are the light of the World and do not hide your light, but let your light shine in the darkness of this world. Lord, I ask You that You will shine through my life and let people see Your light in my life!

JESUS, SHINE TODAY!
