In Matthew 12, the religious people were saying that the miracles that Jesus was performing were because of the power of the devil. And Jesus knew their thoughts and hearts and answered them.
Jesus says in Matthew 12, 33, 34, “A tree is identified by its fruit. If a tree is good, its fruit will be good. If a tree is bad, its fruit will be bad. You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For whatever is in your heart determines what you say.”
We need to be fruit inspectors first in our own lives. What kind of fruit is growing in our lives? The type of fruit that results in our lives is just a result of what is going on inside of us! Good fruit comes from a good spirit, heart! Bad fruit comes from an evil spirit or heart.
Whatever is in our hearts determines what we say! We start with ourselves, and then we need to inspect the fruit of others that we allow into our lives.
Lord, help me to examine my own life, and to see the fruit that is coming out of me! Lord, help me to allow Your Spirit to produce good fruit out of a heart that is following Jesus!
Lord, please help me to be a fruit inspector today!
