Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary, temple, of Your presence in my daily life!

As Jesus enters Jerusalem, the first place He goes is to the Temple. We see that Jesus placed the Church as a priority in His life. What priority do we place on the Church? We live in a culture today that does not prioritize a local church family. We feel that we do not see the Church as just a business, a ritual, and a place for information.

In Luke 19:46, “The Scriptures declare, ‘My Temple will be a house of prayer,’ but you have turned it into a den of thieves.” We also need to realize that we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, and we need to make our own spiritual life a priority before we can make God’s Temple a priority.

Jesus said, “My Temple will be a house of prayer.” Prayer is a connection to God. Is being connected to God a priority in our lives? Do we stay connected to God? Word? Worship? Prayer? Obedience? Ministry?

Jesus wants us to know that “We are the Temple of the Holy Spirit!” Are we making this a priority in our daily lives?

Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary, Temple, of Your presence in my daily life!
