How many people are discouraged, crushed, and ready to quit? We have probably all been there at one time or another.
In 2 Corinthians, Paul writes to encourage followers of Jesus to keep going on the journey and not to give up and quit!
In 2 Corinthians 4:16, “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self wastes away, our inner self is renewed daily.”
The older we become, we see that we are changing and dealing with issues, pains, and aches, and we realize that our bodies have an expiration date.
But Paul states that our inner self is renewed daily because of the Spirit! Because of the Spirit, He is renewing us moment by moment! We do not need to lose heart because of the Holy Spirit’s Presence, Peace, and Provision!
Today, if you feel discouraged and ready to give up, allow the presence of God to renew you on the inside! Romans 12:2 tells us, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what the will of God is, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Lord, renew my strength today!
