Lord, thank You for calling me, and I choose to follow You today!

Jesus is always calling people to follow Him! We see this in Mark 2:14, “As Jesus walked along, He SAW Levi, son of Alphaeus sitting as His tax collector’s booth. “Follow Me and be my disciple,” Jesus said to him. So Levi got up and followed Him.”

What would cause anyone to leave his position in life and to follow Jesus? When Jesus calls, you have a choice! “Our choices will determine the consequences of our lives.”

Following Jesus is being “All In”. When Levi heard Jesus calling Him, He immediately got up and followed Jesus. He did not, but he set conditions on following Jesus. He did not say, I have to wait to get settled in life. He did not say, I have to take care of my business and finances. Jesus called, Levi chose, and he followed Jesus.

Jesus is always calling people to follow Him! But we all have a daily choice: whether to answer the call! Following Jesus is not a part-time thing, or a Sunday thing. Following Jesus is a choice that we make continually throughout the day!

Lord, thank You for calling me, and I choose to follow You today
