“Nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God!”

In John 17, we see Jesus prayer to His Father because He has completed God’s Will and knows that the Cross is coming.

In John 17:14-15, we read: “I have given them Your Word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one.”

• Jesus is the Word, and He gave us Himself. It is the gift of salvation. Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. When He saves us, we are not going to be like the world. Jesus says we are going to be hated by the world! That is His power to save us.

• Jesus prays for God’s keeping power in our lives! That He would empower us to stay filled with His Spirit, so that we will keep following Jesus!

Today, thank God for His saving and keeping power in your life! Because the Holy Spirit can save us and keep us from sin, self, and society!

“Nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God!”
