NYC Small Business Services to host Business Expo on May 29

NEW YORK – The Small Business Month Expo will be held on Wednesday, May 29, as announced by the Small Business Services (SBS).

SBS will host the expo for the first time. More than 6,000 New Yorkers are registered to attend, and they will receive free information for small businesses across all industries and stages of growth.

According to SBS, the expo will provide various free information and resources and direct services that address the needs of small business owners.

Attendees can benefit from:

  • Access to 150+ free city programs and partner resources
  • Faster city permits and licenses
  • Financing and legal assistance
  • Assistance in hiring workers
  • Opportunities for contracting with NYC through the M/WBE Borough Forum
  • Access to representatives from 40+ city, state, and federal agencies
  • Free consultations, workshops, networking, and much more

SBS Commissioner Kevin D. Kim, members of the Adams Administration, small business owners, and industry leaders will be available for questions.

Kim invites and encourages all New Yorkers planning to open or grow their small businesses to attend by registering at nyc.gov/smallbizmonth.
