In Mark 2:1-12, we see Jesus perform a miracle by healing a paralyzed man.
We see in this miracle the love, compassion, faith, and determination of four friends who carried this paralyzed man to Jesus. Jesus noticed the four friends and their ministry.
Look at those four friends and how they put faith into action:
• They saw the need of their friend and knew that Jesus was his only answer! How many of our friends need Jesus? Do we realize that they need to come to Jesus!
• They carried him to Jesus, and when they got to the house where Jesus was, the crowd was so large that they could not get to Jesus. But they did not give up, but brought him up on the roof, made a hole, and lowered him to Jesus. They were All In, and they were not going to give up. They were determined that their friend needed Jesus. We need that kind of faith!
• The four friends were united to get their friend up on the roof and to lower him to Jesus! We need to be united, bringing people to Jesus!
Two miracles took place in this man: salvation and healing! The greatest miracle is when a person experiences salvation! But God is still our healer!
If we do our part and bring people to Jesus, we can be a part of the miracle in our family and friends today!
Pray and ask the Lord to give you opportunities to bring someone to Jesus today!
