What should be the message of every church? What should be our message at ICC? What should we use to reach out to people in our family and among our friends? We can talk a lot about religion, church issues, opinions of man, or we can give it the Word of God.
In Romans 10: 8- 10, “…And that message is the very message about faith that we preach; if you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”
The message of Jesus is really simple: JESUS! If you believe that Jesus came to earth, lived, and died on the Cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day, and believe in your heart that Jesus is your Savior and Lord, then you will be saved!
Then we openly declare that Jesus is our Savior and Lord! We then begin the process of becoming followers of Jesus!
We do not need to complicate the Gospel! Let us keep it simple and Biblical! “For God so loved the World, that He sent His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
That is the message that we should all be sharing with people who need Jesus!
Pray that the Lord will give you an opportunity today to share the simple Gospel with someone!
