Paul writes to the Christians in Galatia and asks them a question about salvation and following Jesus. Are we saved by the law, rules, religion, and traditions, or does faith in Jesus Christ save us? That is a question we have to answer today!

Galatians 3: 2-4, “Let me ask you this one question: “Did you receive the Holy Spirit by obeying the law of Moses? Of course not! You received the Spirit because you believed the message you heard about Christ. How foolish can you be? After starting your new lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort? Have you experienced so much for nothing? Surely it was not in vain, was it?”

There is only one plan for salvation: to have faith in Jesus Christ. There are no other options, ways, or plans to be saved. Jesus is the only way, truth, and life that brings us into a relationship with God the Father.

When we accept Christ into our lives, the Holy Spirit comes to live in us! Think about that today! You are never alone because the Holy Spirit lives in us. We need to realize it is Jesus who saves us, and it is not anything we do that keeps us right with God!

It is all about Jesus! So today, we can stop trying to be saved and put our faith and trust in Jesus!

I am thankful for God’s amazing grace today!
