NEW YORK — The fourth season of the Rise Up NYC concert series kicks off on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Wingate Park in Brooklyn. The opening night features a high-energy Dancehall and Soca lineup with artists like Beene Man and Patric Roberts.
From there, the series rolls through all five boroughs until August 17, with each concert spotlighting a different genre — gospel, hip-hop, Latin tropical, R&B, and more. Doors open at 5 PM, and performances begin at 6 PM.
Launched in 2022 by Mayor Eric Adams, Rise Up NYC was designed to uplift New Yorkers post-pandemic through free outdoor concerts. It is part of the city’s broader “We Outside Summer” initiative, which promotes safe, inclusive, and culturally vibrant experiences for New Yorkers across all five boroughs.
Each year, it builds on the last, turning Rise Up NYC into a summer staple for music lovers and community advocates alike.
“Summer is officially here, and it’s time for New York City to ‘Rise Up’ with us as we come together to celebrate the culture and music that make our city so great,” said Adams.
Adams encourages all New Yorkers to join and celebrate the vibrant entertainment of the city through their love of music.
“Music and the arts are the foundations of our city, and the ‘Rise Up NYC’ concerts are going to light up the city that never sleeps with world-class performances all summer long,” adds Adams.
From July 19 through August 17, the Adams administration will present 10 free concerts to New Yorkers across all five boroughs:
