Thank God, the answer is Jesus Christ

As we follow Jesus, every single one of us will still struggle with sin. No one has arrived, and it is perfect as long as we live. We are all in progress, and none of us are perfect. That may be hard to admit, but we all struggle with sin and need a Savior.

We read in Romans 7; that Paul struggled with sin, and he honestly shows what this struggle is like. In verses 21-25, “I have discovered this principle of life – that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God’s law with all my heart. But another power within me is at war with my mind. This power makes be a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? THANK GOD! THE ANSWER IS JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD! So you see how it is; in my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature, I am a slave to sin.”

How many of us can relate to this in our daily journey of following Jesus? We want to obey God, serve the Lord, worship Him, and do what God wants us to do in our lives. But we struggle with the flesh, sin, and doing what we want to do!

You are not alone in this struggle! Every single one of us struggles with the same battle! But the Answer is JESUS! The only way to win this struggle is to have Jesus in our lives!

Yes, we will struggle through the journey, but the Answer is not trying harder but surrendering to Jesus! Give your life daily to Jesus and ask Him to help you follow Him on life’s journey!

Lord, I thank You that You are the only Answer for life!
