Thank You, Jesus, for being a Promise Keeper, and faithful to Your Word and Your Followers!

As a follower of Jesus, I must know His Word and His Promises. Knowing His Word will give us security, hope, assurance, and peace that can only come from the Lord!

Isaiah 43:1-2; “But now thus says the Lord, He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel: ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, the flame shall not consume you.”

What great promises to hold on to when life is difficult, when I am a follower of Jesus:

• The Lord created us!
• The Lord formed us!
• The Lord redeemed us, rescued us from sin, Satan, and self!
• The Lord called my name. He knows how to get hold of me.
• The Lord is with me in the storms of life. Storms happen all the time in life, but He is with me!
• The Lord is with me when I am overwhelmed by life. Life can sometimes be like an overwhelming river at flood stage, but He will keep me from being overwhelmed by life!
• When life is like an uncontrollable fire, the Lord will lead us through the fire, and it will not consume us..

We may lose everything in the material world, but we have Jesus, who will be with us!

Thank You, Jesus, for being a Promise Keeper and faithful to Your Word and Your Followers!
