I am so thankful that the Lord is with us on our most difficult days. When we are overwhelmed with life, He is still with us! When we are discouraged or depressed, I am thankful that the Lord is with us in every situation.
Psalm 143: 1, 7-8 brings words of help and hope into a weary soul today:
“Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my plea! Answer me because You are faithful and righteous.”
“Come quickly, Lord, and answer me, for my depression deepens. Don’t turn away from me, or I will die. Let me hear of Your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting You. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to You.”
Today, if you are struggling with discouragement or depression, I am thankful that the Lord is with us if we call out to Him! I do not need to hide my emotions, feelings, and desperation from the Lord.
But today: The Lord will not turn from You, but He was waiting for you to turn towards Him. Turn your depression into desperation for His presence, His peace and His provision in your life today!
Jesus invites us today: “Come to Me all you who are weary, burdened, discouraged in life, and I will give you rest.”
Today, begin to cry out to the Lord and tell Him what is going on in you. Let Him show you His love, mercy, guidance, and faithfulness in your life today!
Thank You, Jesus, for being with us in our lowest times! Lift people up today, and give them help and hope because of Your presence!
