As followers of Jesus, we are in a battle; sometimes, we are our worst enemies. We are in a battle with Satan, sin, and self! But as followers of Jesus, we have victory in every battle.
David wrote in Psalm 27: 2-3, “When evil people come to devour me when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid; even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.”
No one is exempt from the battles of life, but as followers of Jesus, we do not have to stumble and fall. We do not have to be consumed with fear, but we can remain confident because of Jesus!
Today, if you follow Jesus, “the battle is not ours but the Lord’s.” We can follow Jesus, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.”
It is a good reminder as we get ready to go into 2025!
