The blessings of following Jesus are much better than anything this world has to offer

“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of Hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in you.” Psalm 84: 11-12

Why would any person not be All In for Jesus? The blessings of following Jesus are much better than anything this world has to offer.

Sin is fun for a short while, but the pleasures of sin only last for a season. Then sin will destroy you and everything in your life.

But the blessings of God are out of this world:

• The Lord is my sun and shield. Think about the sun and the blessings that it brings to us in the natural realm: life, growth, the rebirth of spring, heat, and many other things. This is what the Son brings into our daily lives spiritually.
• The Lord is my Shield! The shield would be a weapon that would protect the soldier from the enemy’s attacks. Jesus is my shield, and if I am in Him, He is my shield. “No weapon shall prevail against me.”
• The Lord bestows favor and honor. God bless the person who is all in for Jesus!
• The Lord withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly! “Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father above!” Why would I not be all in for Jesus?
• Blessings come to the person who trusts in You! Being all in means I can trust God in every area of my life!

Lord, help me to be ALL IN FOR JESUS today!
