Psalm 118 reminds us why our faith should be in God: ” The faithfulness and love of the Lord endures forever.”
Psalm 118:1, 5-7 “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever.”
“Out of my distress I called on the Lord, the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? The Lord is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.”
When I am distressed, stressed, overwhelmed by life, I must do my part and call on the Lord. When I call the Lord will answer and set me free.
The only prayer that is never answered is the one that is never prayed. God answers prayer, but we may not always like the answer. He will give us what we prayed for but may say, “No! This is not My will for you.” Or He may say, “Wait, for My timing.” Are we willing to trust God with the answer that He gives us?
When I am in the battle and feel that I am all alone, I must remember God’s promise that the Lord is on my side! If God is on my side, I do not need to be afraid of anyone or anything in my life!
When I feel helpless and hopeless, I must remind myself that the Lord is my helper! “The Lord is my refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble.”
The steadfast love and faithfulness of the Lord is why I am ALL IN for Jesus.
