Solomon ends his prayer at the dedication with these words: 1 Kings 8:61; “Let your heart therefore be wholly true to the Lord God, walking in His statues and keeping His commandments, as at this day.”
That is a good prayer for us to pray daily:
- Lord, let my heart be wholly true to the Lord today. I can not change yesterday or control what will happen tomorrow, but today, I can choose to be wholly faithful to the Lord. No one else can make that choice but you!
- Today, choose to walk in His footsteps and follow His word.
- Today, choose to keep His commandments that we read in His Word!
Lord, I pray this over my life this morning!
