Relationships, marriages, families, friends, and people can be very challenging in this world. Relationships change, and sometimes not for the better. We can probably all relate to relationships that started well, but because of being people, hurts happen, seasons change, and relationships are not always the same. People love us one day, and then they no longer love us.
How many of us feel this way with God? God loves me, and then things happen in life, and we feel that God does not love us. We make ungodly choices and feel that God has given up on us.
Romans 8: 35; “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble, or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? Is that a question that you have ever asked yourself?
But we see the answer in Romans 8:38: “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s Love….” God’s relationship is different than any human relationship we have experienced in life. God’s will never stop loving us because He is God and loves us with an agape love. God loved us before we accepted Christ. God came searching for us. God loves us when we are up and when we are down. God is love!
Today, if you feel that God is against you, upset with you, or has given up on you. Read these words again: “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love….”
Today, come home to a God who loves you more than anyone else could ever love you!
