We need the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to be continually in our lives. We cannot live without Him!
“And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may WALK in My statutes and KEEP My rules and OBEY
them. And they shall be my people and I will be their God.” Ezekiel 11: 19-20
Why do we need the Holy Spirit? Because we cannot follow Jesus in our own strength, will, or power!
- We cannot WALK in God’s ways without the Holy Spirit in our lives. We will walk in our worldly ways, and we will get lost, not following Jesus. The Holy Spirit empowers us to walk with Jesus!
- We cannot KEEP His commandments in our own strength and willpower. We will do good in our own eyes, but without Him, we will fail! That is why we need the Holy Spirit in our lives!
- We cannot OBEY His Word! The Holy Spirit equips and empowers us to obey His Word! We want to debate the Word, study the Word, but we need His presence in our lives to obey the Word.”
Today, fill me with Your Spirit! “It is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit, says the Lord.”
Invite the Holy Spirit into your life!
“Come Holy Spirit, I need you. Come, sweet Spirit, I pray. Come in your strength and power. Come in your own special way.”
