Today, focus on our Heavenly Father, and He will be our Source and our Resource in life

In Luke 12, Jesus teaches about life’s priorities! Jesus knows what we need to survive in this world, as His children. In verses 22-34, Jesus teaches us about the priorities of followers of Jesus compared with those of the world. Everyone lives in a real world with real needs, real struggles, real bills, and real worries, fears, and doubts about whether we will succeed.

But as children of God, we need to remind ourselves that we have a Heavenly Father who will take care of His children.

Luke 12: 29-31; shows us the priorities of the children of God:

“And don’t be concerned (anxious, worried, fearful) about what to eat and what to drink. These things dominate (control) the thoughts (minds) of unbelievers all over the world, BUT Your Father already knows your NEEDS! SEEK the Kingdom of God above all else, and He (Your Heavenly Father) will give you everything you NEED!”

How many of us are filled with worry, anxiety, and fear about our needs? (Or are we concerned about the things that we want?). For the person who does not have a Heavenly Father, then the things of this world will dominate and control our minds, hearts, and souls. We are overwhelmed by material things such as money and possessions.

But for the child of God, we do not have to worry because we are “Seeking the Kingdom of God above all else, because we know that our Heavenly Father is not only our Resource but our Source!

Today, focus on our Heavenly Father, and He will be our Source and our Resource in life. Our Heavenly Father will supply all of our needs!

What a promise from our Heavenly Father!
