As Jesus is entering the last few days before He dies on the Cross. He goes into Jerusalem and goes to the temple. He goes into the temple and overthrows the tables of the money changers and says: In Matthew 21:13 – ‘The Scriptures declare, ‘My temple will be called a house of prayer, but you have turned it into a den of thieves.” The blind and the lame came to Him in the Temple and He healed them. The leading priests and teachers of the religious law saw these wonderful miracles and heard even the children of the temple shouting, ‘Praise God for the Son of David.”

What does God want for His temples today—yours and mine?

* Prayer – “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” Are we a person of prayer? How can the church be a house of worship if we are not people of prayer? We need to prioritize prayer in our personal lives.

* Power – Prayer is the vehicle that will get us to the Power of the Holy Spirit! We need His Power in our lives! We can do “All things through Him who gives us strength.” When the Holy Spirit comes on you, He will give you power.” We need His power in our daily lives.

* Praise – Praise is an overflow of Prayer and Power in our lives. Praise will flow because we know Him and see the results of His power in our lives!

Today, help me to be a person of PRAYER, POWER, AND PRAISE, because of Your PRESENCE IN MY LIFE!
