How many of us forget things in life? We have become so accustomed to relying on Siri, Google, or AI that we forget many things.
How many of us know the phone numbers of our mates, children, parents, and even our own?
We forget birthdates, appointments, and schedules today.
How many of us forget the Lord? We forget God’s Word, Promises, and all of His blessings in our lives.
Hosea 4:6 – “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of God, I also will forget your children.”
We need to know the Lord and His Word. This is not talking about head knowledge, where we may learn about Him. But we need to know Him personally and relationally!
When we know Him, we will not forget Him! We will stay close to Him because of our relationship, connection, and closeness to the Lord!
Today, help me to know You better! Help me to remember You in every situation that I encounter today!
