Jesus is calling us to be ALL IN! This is our theme at ICC for this year! Are we really All In as followers of Jesus? But this is not anything new because Jesus has always called His followers to be all in with Him!

Jesus tells His followers in Matthew 10: 37-39 “If you love your father or mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than me, you are not worthy of being mine. If you refuse to take up your Cross and follow Me, you are not worthy of being mine. If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for Me, you will find it.”

It is really showing us what it means to be “All In” for Jesus! That means that Jesus must be the #1 priority in our relationships with people, possessions, priorities, and pleasures in life! What place does Jesus really have in my life today?

Is Jesus my highest priority, or are other things my absolute priority? Jesus wants to be our #1 priority! Guess what? He deserves that because of who He is! He is the One who died on the Cross to save us from our sins! He is the One who gives us an abundant life! He is the One who provides everything that we need in life!

We might think that it is scary to surrender it all to Jesus! But really, when we understand that He is for me and not against me, surrender is freeing!

Today, help me to live out putting Jesus as my highest priority!

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33
