Do we realize that Jesus could come at any moment or that we could be in His presence today? Do we ever stop to think how fragile life really is? But as believers, we know that we have eternal life and will one day be in heaven with the Lord.
I read this today, “Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow Godly paths will rest in peace when they die.” Isaiah 57:1-2
How many people blame God, why did you take my loved One? It is not fair? He was a good person, she was such a good Christian. But we see that God is protecting His children! God knows what is best for His children! God is watching over our lives and knows things that we would never know here on earth.
But I am glad that when I die, I am not lost! I am just changing addresses and know that I am at rest from the battle of living in this world. No more tears, no more pain, no more sickness, no more problems because I have reached Heaven!
Today, help me to realize that “You have a plan to do me good and not harm, to give me a hope and a future.” Lord, I trust in You, even when I do not understand it all!
