Why do we need the Holy Spirit continually in our lives? Because I am not able to live for Jesus without His presence in my life!
John 16:13 tells us, “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is to come.”
We need the Holy Spirit to guide us into God’s truth! God’s truth is the Word of God. Truth is not our feelings, ideas, or preferences because what we think is the truth.
We can be deceived by people, cultures, and the world’s philosophies. Some will lean right; others will lean left, but we need to stand on the truth of God’s Word!
The Holy Spirit will never lead us away from the Word of God!
Today, help me to stand on Your Word in my private and public life. Fill me with the Spirit of Truth today!
