Today, I choose to “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name”

Sunday is the day that belongs to the Lord! As we prepare to enter His House, His presence today, let us remember God’s Word:
Psalm 100: 4-5 – “Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation.”

Today, when you enter the church, come in with a heart and mouth of thanksgiving to the Lord! Come into God’s House with praise and worship! Give thanks to the Lord today because of His many blessings in our lives. Come expecting to receive from the Lord, so begin from the moment you enter the doors to give thanks to the Lord.

Pastor, I do not have anything to give thanks to the Lord for right now, but we always have something to thank and praise the Lord for in our lives!

Psalm 100:5 – gives us some things to thank Him for a challenging day:

  • I can give thanks to the Lord, for He is GOOD! Life may be hard, and you may be going through pain and suffering, but we need to focus on God being Good! God is for me! God is working all things together for my good today!
  • I can give thanks that He has UNFAILING LOVE for me forever! God loves you on your good days and your bad days! God loves me when I cannot even love myself! People may reject or not love me, or my family may want nothing to do with me, but God LOVES ME!
  • I can give thanks to the Lord today because HIS FAITHFULNESS CONTINUE TO THE NEXT GENERATION! The Lord is faithful, even when we are not faithful! The Lord is the “Same yesterday, today and forever.”

Today, I choose to “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name.”
