God created us to worship Him in Spirit and Truth! Worship is not what we do when we go to church and sing songs. Worship is a lifestyle! Worship is how we live our daily lives. Worship deals with our marriage, family, job, ministry, and finances!
Worship is putting the Lord first in every area of our lives! We must decide WHO we worship as our god. We were created to worship God, but how many people worship other gods? The god of self, marriage, children, career, ministry, homes, people, pleasure, and money?
Nothing is wrong, but anything that comes before the Lord is idolatry.
In Proverbs 3: 9-10, “Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then He will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.”
When I worship the Lord and honor Him in my life, that will include my wealth, time, life, and the BEST PART of me! Am I giving the Lord the BEST PART of me, or am I giving Him the leftovers of my life? How can I trust God for HIS BEST WHEN I AM NOT GIVING HIM MY BEST?
Worship is giving the Lord MY BEST; when I give Him MY BEST, He will bless me with HIS BEST! His Best is JESUS CHRIST! He gave me the gift of salvation, the gift of freedom, the gift of peace, joy, mercy, and faithfulness of God! He blesses me with everything that I need for life! Why would I not worship the Lord with MY BEST?
Today, I give YOU MY BEST OF ME! Because I want YOUR BEST IN ME, AND FOR MY FAMILY!
