Today, know that wherever God leads you is for your growth to be more like Jesus!

If we will be ALL IN FOR JESUS, we must always follow Him. The Lord will lead us to places that are not always easy, comfortable, and what we would desire. But God leads us to places that will help us grow to be more like Jesus!

Luke 4:1-2; “And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil.”

• Jesus was baptized in water and filled with the Holy Spirit. This was a time of great blessing and favor in His life. There will be seasons in our lives when we see God’s blessings and favor.
• Now, the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil for 40 days!
  The Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness—not the devil but the Spirit. The Lord will lead us to places that we do not understand or like. But God has a purpose for every place that He leads us, and there are lessons to learn in every place that He leads us.

Why was Jesus led into the wilderness? To be tempted by the devil? Why? Why does the Lord lead us into the wilderness?

• To strengthen us for the battles of life. We realize how much we need Jesus in the battles! “The battle is not mine, but the Lord’s.”
• We are to build faith, trust, obedience, and endurance in our lives! God is building us spiritually so we can stand up for Jesus!
• To fill us with His Spirit so that we can say no to the temptations of life. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
• To develop a victor’s mindset that we are spiritual champions. That we are victors over sin, Satan, and self. Because “Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world.”

Today, know that wherever God leads you is for your growth to be more like Jesus!

Remember Romans 8:28: “And we know that for those who love God ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD, for those who are called according to His purpose.”

Lord, help me to stay All In!
