Why do we need the Holy Spirit in our lives daily? Because we are powerless in the supernatural without the Holy Spirit! We need more than our own self-will, good works, and programs; we need the power of the Holy Spirit!

Acts 1:8 tells us, “But you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will BE MY WITNESSES, telling people about me everywhere – in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

* We need POWER – we need His Strength, His Provision, His Power, His Presence in our daily lives. We cannot be spiritual without the Holy Spirit! We cannot be used in the supernatural without the Holy Spirit! We are weak, but He is strong! “We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!

* We will BE HIS WITNESSES – It does not say we will do witnessing, but we will be witnesses. We witness by our lives, lips, love, and by our testimony. People need to see Jesus in us before they will want to know what we believe! Sometimes the greatest witnesses are witnesses that back up their talk with the way they walk through life.

* Where will we witness? First is Jerusalem – Homes, families, work, school. Judea – locally, Samaria – places that no one else wants to go, home missions. To the ends of the earth – global missions! We are sent to reach people no matter where they are in this world! Lord help us to be Kingdom Builders!

Today, Lord, fill me with Your power to make an impact on someone who needs Jesus!
