The Gospel of Jesus Christ is really simple, and it is not about doing, but about what is done! Jesus did all the work for our salvation when He died on the Cross. He rose again on the third day, and as He was going back to Heaven, He sent the gift of the Father, the Holy Spirit. And one day Jesus is coming back to take us to be with Him for all eternity. All that we have to do is have faith in Jesus and call out to Him to be our personal Savior and Lord!
Romans 10:13: “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
What a simple truth that will change our lives for all eternity.
The Gospel is for:
Everyone: Every single person! Not one person, not one nation, not one sinner, not one religion, not one language, not one social status, not one person on the face of the earth. But the Gospel is for everyone! Period!
Who calls – This is a personal choice; we are not a follower of Jesus because of our grandparents, parents, spouse, or children. It is a personal decision to call out to the Lord.
The Name of Jesus – It is important to call out the name of Jesus. Not any god, not any idol, not any religion, not any church, not any person.
Will be saved – Everyone who calls on the name of Jesus will be saved! Salvation is a gift, but we must “Call on the name of Jesus and we will be saved.”
Simple, but what a miracle salvation is in our lives! Have you called on the name of Jesus to save you from sin, self, and Satan?
Today, right now, you can call on Jesus and invite Him to be your personal Savior and Lord!
