Why do we even have a phone today? How many of us never use the phone to talk to someone, call someone, but we use it for texting, social media, games, banking, and many other things. But we never use it to call someone?
God invites us to call out to Him, but how many of us never call out to Him? We want God to give us all His benefits, but we do not call out to Him. We want a text from God, or a sign from God, but do we ever call out or communicate with God?
Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
What a powerful verse, but how many of us never call out to the Lord? The Lord says Call out to Him, and He will answer us! When we call God, we always get through, and He will answer! But we want God to respond the way that we want Him to answer! But God will show us His way, which is great and hidden from the natural man.
If I call, God will answer! Do we trust Him to answer His Way? Do we trust that God knows what is best for me? God will answer Yes – and we love this when God answers the way we want Him to. But God also will answer and say – NO, because He knows this is not what is best for us! But God may also answer and say – WAIT! This is not the best time and just learn to trust and wait on Me!
Today, stop and call out to God, and He will answer you! What a privilege that we can call out to God, and that He will answer me! Think about that today!
