Why am I All In For Jesus? Living in Jesus is all about relationships, not rules, rituals, and religion. Jesus is My Savior, King, Lord, Friend, Provider, Healer, Counselor and many other things that rules, rituals and religion cannot provide.
I am thankful that the Lord continually watches over me and my family!
Psalm 139: 1-6; “O Lord, You have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts, even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand.”
How do those verses make you feel?
If we are just about rules, rituals, and religion, we may not like these verses because we know the real us! God is examining me. God knows every detail of my life, my thoughts (wow), where I go, and everything I do. God even knows the words I will say before I say them. Think about that. How does that make you feel?
But when you live in Christ and have a personal relationship with Jesus, these words are so loving, gracious, and merciful! It brings great comfort that I am never alone, but my Jesus is with me! He loves and cares for me! He is watching over my life constantly and will never leave or forsake me! He is a friend who sticks closer than any person. He is for me and not against me.
Psalm 139:6; “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand.” Unless we live in Christ and Christ is living in me, we cannot fathom this amazing grace that the Lord gives us!
Today, thank you, Lord, for being involved in my life! What a wonderful miracle of God’s love and grace!
