Today, what would the Lord say about our giving? What would the Lord say about our sacrifice, heart about building His Kingdom?

In Luke 21, Jesus is at the temple, watching people as they offer their offerings. He saw the rich and the poor putting in their offerings. But what did Jesus notice about the giving: the generosity of a poor widow!

Luke 21:2-4 tells us: “Jesus also saw a poor widow put in two very small coins. Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”

What can we apply from these verses?

* Every believer is expected to be a giver! Am I a giver or a taker? Am I faithful in giving of my finances, time, and talents to His Church?

* Our giving is all about the heart! Love gives! Love serves! Love sacrifices! Love is generous!

* Our giving is a statement of faith and trust that the Lord is my provider!

Today, what would the Lord say about our giving? What would the Lord say about our sacrifice, heart about building His Kingdom?
