Look at the journey that Jesus took for every single one of us. John 1:14 tells us: “So the Word (Jesus) became human and made His home among us. He was full of of unfailing love and faithfulness.”
What is your view of God? What is your view of Jesus? What is your view of yourself? I recently read this quote: “Our concept of God will determine our confidence in God.” That is why we need to know our view of Jesus! How we see God will determine how we live on this earth.
God loved us so much that He sent His Son for you and me! “The Word (Jesus) became Human and made His home among us.” That is amazing that God loved us enough to send His Son to die on the Cross. That Jesus loved the Father and loved us that He was willing to come to earth and become human. That means that He understands everything that we face in life. When you read the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), you see that Jesus deals with the same issues and struggles we deal with in life. He dealt with temptation, loneliness, hunger, rejection, pain, sorrow, poverty, and many other things because He became Human. Jesus knows everything that we face in our human lives. That is amazing that He came to earth and lived the same kind of lives that we have to live. What an amazing God!
Another amazing thing about Jesus, and why He is worthy of us following Him, is that “He is full of unfailing love and faithfulness.” Think about that today!
Jesus loves you with unfailing love! People may stop loving you, you may stop loving yourself, your family may no longer love you, a mate may walk out on you, your parents may not love you, and your children may want nothing to do with you. That can be devastating to us when people no longer love us. But why should I follow Jesus? Because His love is unfailing, His love is there in all life’s journeys. Jesus loves you right now!
Jesus is faithful to us! We know we have not always been faithful to the Lord, but He remains faithful to us!
That is the miracle of Jesus, and why I should surrender my life entirely to Him and follow Him on life’s journey!
