The 2025 US Open singles main draws will feature a total of 256 players — 128 men and 128 women — competing at Flushing Meadows from August 24 to September 7 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City.
The field includes 18 total former Grand Slam singles champions, including 10 former US Open champions. The United States leads all nations with 30 players (16 women and 14 men) earning direct entry into the tournament.
The American women are led by No. 2 Gauff, No. 4 Jessica Pegula, No. 7 Amanda Anisimova, and No. 8 Madison Keys. The American men in the field include top-10 players Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton.

US Open Fan Week
Meanwhile, the Stars of the Open Presented by Chase, a dazzling exhibition event during the US Open Fan Week, begins on August 21, 2025, at 7 PM inside Arthur Ashe Stadium and concludes on August 23, 2025. Star power appearances from icons like Venus Williams, John McEnroe, Andre Agassi, and rising talents like Coco Gauff and Jose Fonseca are expected.
The US Open Fan Week will also feature celebrity surprises. Past events featured NBA star Jimmy Butler and singer Sebastian Yatra, who joined the fun. On August 22, a US Open Block Party will be held. It will feature a music festival-style bash at the fountain plaza with live entertainment and food.
Guests can watch top-ranked athletes fine-tune their game- some sessions require a free Fan Access Pass. The qualifying tournament will take place from August 18 to 22, 2025, with 128 men’s and 128 women’s teams competing for a spot in the main draw.
According to USTA, a portion of ticket proceeds support the USTA Foundation, which funds tennis and education programs for under-resourced youth through the National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network. Tickets start at $25, making it one of the most accessible ways to experience tennis greatness.
