What does it mean to be ALL IN FOR JESUS? It means living in Him and allowing Him to be our Savior and Lord! We need Jesus in every area of our lives.
Here is a prayer that we should pray continuously.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends You, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.’ Psalm 139: 23-24
When we are connected to Jesus, this is not a scary prayer but a prayer that says, “My relationship with the Lord is the most important endeavor in my life.”
Today, ask the Lord to:
- SEARCH ME: Allow the Lord complete access to our lives and allow Him to search me. Allow the Holy Spirit’s access into every area of Your life.
- KNOW MY HEART: The Bible tells us that our hearts are wickedly deceitful, but give access to the Lord in your heart, emotions, passions, desires, and feelings of life. We need the Lord to know the real us, not the Sunday us! We need the Lord to know me so that I can know me!
- TEST ME: No one likes tests, but when the Lord tests me. He already knows my grade, but He wants us to know He is for me and not against me. Test me Lord! Please help me to know where I need improvement. I was hoping you could help me pass life’s tests, and grow and learn from every test.
- KNOW MY ANXIOUS THOUGHTS: We all experience situations in life that make us anxious, fearful, and worried. But the Lord knows my anxious thoughts, so He tells us: “Cast all your cares upon me, because I care for you.”
- POINT OUT ANYTHING IN MY LIFE THAT OFFENDS YOU! Pray that the Lord will reveal areas in my life that offend Him! We want to live a life that pleases the Lord!
- LEAD ME ALONG THE PATH OF EVERLASTING LIFE! Pray that we will know His voice and block out all other voices, and allow Him to be #1 guide in our lives. “My sheep know my voice and follow after me.”
What a blessing it is that we can pray to our Father and be real with Him, because He is real with us!
