What should be my response to this Wonderful Jesus? “I WILL PRAISE THE LORD!”

I am thankful for the reminders we get when we read His Word! His Word speaks to us and encourages us to keep following Jesus!

In Psalm 145: 17-21, “The Lord is righteous in everything He does; He is filled with kindness. The Lord is close to all who call on Him, yes, to all who call on Him in truth. He grants the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cries for help and rescues them. The Lord protects all those who love Him but HE destroys the wicked. I WILL PRAISE THE LORD, and may everyone on earth BLESS HIS HOLY NAME FOREVER AND EVER.”

• The Lord is righteous in everything He does. The Lord never mistakes, fails, and does the wrong thing. We make mistakes, fail, and do bad things even when we do not want to do what is wrong. I am thankful that the Lord’s will and ways are always righteous.
• The Lord is filled with kindness. How many of us are not as kind as we should be? How many of us are guarded and will not get close to people because we have been hurt before? I am thankful that the Lord is kind to us!
• The Lord is close to those who call on Him in truth. If we do not feel close to the Lord today, who moved? God’s Word says, “If I draw near to God, then God will draw near to me.” Lord, help me to draw near to You today! Help me to call on You consistently in my life.
• The Lord hears my cries for HELP, and He rescues me. When I need help, I can cry out to the Lord, and He HEARS ME and HELPS ME! What a remarkable HOPE that brings into my life!
• The Lord protects all those who love Him! I am thankful that “He is my Protector in the battles of life! “He is my refuge and strength, a very present help, in the times of trouble!

What should be my response to this Wonderful Jesus? “I WILL PRAISE THE LORD! Lord, I praise You because You have been and will be so good to me!
