Who are we putting our confidence in today?

We live in a culture that is divided spiritually, morally, politically, and socially. Everyone chooses sides and is willing to lose everything for their way of thinking.

As followers of Jesus, we must have a different worldview than the world.

Psalm 146:3-5; “Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. But JOYFUL are those who have THE GOD OF ISRAEL AS THEIR HELPER, whose HOPE is in the Lord their God.”

Who are we confiding in today? You can set several people, but we must remember there is no help from there. Stop looking to man and start looking to God!

When powerful people die, the world will not stop! When I die, the world will not stop! No man, leader, or powerful person will change man’s condition.

BUT joyful are those who have God as their helper and their hope! When we know the Lord, we realize He is our ONLY helper who gives us hope!

Who are we putting our confidence in today?

Jeremiah 17:7- “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.”

Hebrews 13:6 – “So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mortals do to me?”
