In Mark 8:27-30, Jesus and the disciples are walking when Jesus asks them, “Who do people say that I am?” And they replied, “Some say John the Baptist, or Elijah, or one of the other prophets.”
But then Jesus asked the disciples (a question that every one of us must answer). “But who do you say that I am?”
We need to answer this question. We were in a village of people who worship trees, rocks, and animals this week. That is the gods they serve. Other people serve all different kinds of gods!
But as a follower of Jesus, we need to answer the question the way that Peter responded to the question: “YOU ARE THE CHRIST!”
Is Jesus Christ your God, Savior, Lord, and King?
“Who do you say that Jesus is today?”
