Today we can thank the Lord because “His steadfast love endures forever.” That is the message of Psalm 136!
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods, for His steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for His steadfast love endures forever.” Psalm 136: 1-3
“Give thanks to the God of heaven, for His steadfast love endures forever.” Psalm 136:26
We all need love. We were created to love and to be loved.
In this world, love may not be steadfast and enduring. Many have been hurt, rejected, or deserted by people who are supposed to love them. Maybe it was a parent, mate, close friend, or someone else. But the pain of a broken heart can last a lifetime!
But God …
God will not break your heart but heal it because “His steadfast love endures forever.” He will love us today, tomorrow, and forever! He loves us when we are good and even when we are not good! He loves us forever.
So today, your heart may be broken, but bring it to Jesus and allow His steadfast love to heal it!
