There was a game show, and they would ask the question, “Is that your final answer?” If they said yes, there would be no more debate, no more calling a friend, no more changes. Is this your final answer?
The Lord also asks us, “What is your final answer?” God has given us His final answer to life and eternity! Then, we must decide if we will accept His answer.
1 John 5: 11-12 gives us the final answer: we must accept or reject it. “And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.”
Such is not a game show, but this is reality! What choice are we going to make for our lives? Jesus gives eternal life, but we must lock it in for ourselves! “Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no man comes to the Father but through the Son.”
Today, I am thankful I have locked that answer in my life! Today, what will be your final answer to Jesus and eternal life?
