Today is the day to ask Jesus to come into your life and receive God’s wonderful gift

What we do now will determine our destiny for all eternity. God’s Word says, “That it is appointed unto man to die once, and then comes the judgment.” We need to understand that one day, everyone will be judged.

We read this Revelation 20:11-15; “And I saw a great white throne and the One (Jesus) sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from His presence, but they found no place to hide. I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds. Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death. And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the fire.”

My choices here will determine my eternal future. Your most important choice is: “Is your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? What does it take me to get my name written in this book?

• Have I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior and Lord? I am not talking about how religious we are, but are we right with the Lord? Have you admitted that you are a sinner and believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross to save you? Then, we must confess our sins to the Lord and ask for His forgiveness. Jesus is the greatest gift that God gave to us!
• Am I following Jesus in the journey of life? Am I a disciple of Jesus? Am I growing in my relationship with the Lord?

It is the most important question you will ever have to answer honestly. “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
